Infamous war – Inevitable Humanitarian Crises and Tragic Consequences for the Environment

“The destinies of man and the environment have never been so closely connected. The infamous war that is bleeding Europe with the aggression of the Russian Federation on Ukraine is causing an inevitable consequence on the ability to respect the agenda of commitments to combat climate change and thus avoid further consequent humanitarian crises “. This was declared by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, on the occasion of World Environment Day which “sounds more than ever as a severe call to the shared assumption of a common commitment to peace and international cooperation”.
