Universal Studios Hollywood will offer you a unique experience that is fun for the whole family. While you are there, you can take the legendary Studio Tour where you get to explore where Hollywood movies are made. John Paul Getty Museum
If you need a break from the loud theme parks and enjoy art, the J Paul Getty Museum is a great place to visit. The Getty Museum Offers Two Locations, The Getty Center in Los Angeles and the Getty Villa in Malibu. The Getty Center Sits on a hill overlooking Santa Monica and Malibu. Admission is Free but parking costs $15. The Getty Center offers European paintings, drawings, manuscripts, sculpture and decorative arts, and European and American photographs. The Getty Villa in Malibu is dedicated to the study of the arts and cultures of Ancient Greece Rome and Etruria. The Architecture of the Villa represents that particular time period. Admission is free and parking is$15.
Santa Monica Pier
The world Famous Santa Monica Pier offers a wide variety of entertainment and shopping. While there you can experience Pacific Park amusement park, Heal the bay Aquarium, and a historic Carousel dating back to 1922. There is also a Trapeze School located on the Pier that offers daily Flying Trapeze and Silks Classes. Parking is located around the pier for a fee on a first come first serve basis. It does fill up fast, especially during the summer months.
Long Beach Queen Mary
Why not visit one of the World’s Most Famous Ocean Liners the Queen Mary? Located in Long Beach the Ship offers daily tours where you can discover the history and mystery of the ship with an Expert Guide. This is highly recommended if you want to get the most out of your visit to this Long Beach Icon. Tickets Can Be purchased on the day of your arrival at their ticket booth. In addition to the Ship tours, the Queen Mary has great places to Dine and a hotel on board where you can stay. Just beware that there are ghosts roaming the ship at night.
